The Colombian acai or "Naidí" as it is traditionally known in our country, has been used as a superfood. During years of consumption, its beneficial effect has been highlighted in the care and rejuvenation of the skin and hair. Our "BE" technology allows to obtain the best of the lipophilic and hydrophilic compounds of this fruit in a single ingredient.
Origin
BioEmulsion® Açaí is obtained from fresh and wild fruits of Colombian origin. Our açaí grows in the heart of the country near the Magdalena River in a renowned livestock area (Magdalena Medio region). Before our company detected the presence of these wild crops, local people were cutting them down to make more land available for livestock. Now, we have a protected area with more than 400 hectares of wild acai forest. Around the palm groves, there is an amazing biodiversity: jaguars, crocodiles, snakes, birds and many species of monkeys live around these forests.
Acai is harvested by local farmers, they must cut the fruits from the tops of the palms over 30 meters high and catch them before they touch the flooded land. The fruits are then selected and sent to the Bioingred Tech facilities, where we transform them into our BioEmulsions®, a recovery technology that pays tribute to the efforts of our main allies: "the collectors and our biodiversity".

Easy Incorporation
Our ingredient is designed to be applied in cosmetic formulations such as solution, gel, serum and emulsion. It does not require heating and can even be incorporated at the end of the formulation process.

Our ingredient is formulated with fresh fruit preserving all its nutrients.
To produce one kg of BE acai, approximately 1300 berries of this fruit are required.
